Ever missed a concert of your favorite artist? Found out that they’re on tour and were shocked to see that tickets were sold out already – or worse, the tour just wrapped up and they had played at a venue near you. Maybe they had a unannounced special appearance and this was a once in a lifetime opportunity catch that gig!! Well, we did. And that just plain sucks. It was the second year in a row that we missed Strings (the Pakistani Rock band) in concert and why – because there isn’t a definitive source providing this sort of Information.
We believe, whatever be the reason, if your artists are playing at venue near you, you deserve to be told. Period. You’ve got all the ticket booking and logistics to figure out, the clearing out your calendars, calling in sick, etc to do. We think you have enough to do to just get to the concert.
So, what’s this site all about?
A notice board. Yes. Just like in school. A notice board. Only way cooler and something that you’ll actually read!
We’re just a bunch of regular guys who love live music and are most probably never to leave an opportunity to check out our favorite artist. We know for a fact that there are a lot of you out there who are pretty much the same.
This is a non-profit effort and our honest & sincere endeavor to post tour dates, latest releases, trivia and much more of the artists that you like to build a community. We will stalk these artists and you will help us with it! We want to get fans of artist posts reviews of a concerts they went to, post tour dates if we haven’t gotten to it already, share any ‘meet the band’ experiences, groupies, etc. – all the yada yada about the music and gigs.
We know this information is out there but like we mentioned, there is lack of focus in this area and most importantly, organizing this information. Our job is to create this one stop shop for you to get to know of an upcoming concert near you and where you can find your groupies! No more crazy searching or constantly checking multiple websites.
Our Focus
But hey, everyone starts quite & slow. For now, our concentration would be artists from the Asian Subcontinent. Frankly, it’s for these artists and bands and above all, their music that got us motivated to venture into this. We believe that it’s the artists from here that need to reach out to the fans across the world. They’re really huge artist and bands but we think, they don’t get the kind of propaganda and advertising some other bands and artists internationally get. Again, we’re talking about artists who’ve sold millions of records worldwide.
Explode. We saw the need to get the word out and concerts are great way to encourage artists and get some good listening. Even if you’ve only heard them a couple of times, go out for an evening if they’re playing at a venue near you. It might just be the beginning to something awesome.
